The School Belonging Study

Welcome to the School Belonging Study! This study is for both parents/guardians and their child. In order to participate in this Study 2, the parent/guardian must:
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Reside with their child in one of the following towns:
    • Mansfield
    • Windham
    • Vernon
    • Woodstock
    • Tolland
    • Glastonbury
    • Hartford
    • East Hartford
    • West Hartford
    • Bloomfield
    • Avon
    • Farmington

In order for the child to participate in this study, they must:

  • Be entering 9th, 10th, or 11th grade in the 2023-2024 school year.
  • Have attended a public, charter, or magnet school in Connecticut prior to COVID-19.
  • Currently attend a public, charter, or magnet school in CT.
  • Have participated in a free/reduced school meal program prior to COVID-19.

Unfortunately, if the parent/guardian or child do not meet these criteria, they are unable to participate in this study.

Parents and teens will receive one $5 eGift card each and can be entered into a drawing to win one of two $50 eGift cards.
